Young Life and WyldLife leaders are
committed to teenagers, showing them that they really care. They
participate in and lead weekly Club and Campaigners meetings, but Contact Work,
going after kids on their own turf, is the most important part of their job. They
are serving students all around our area, getting involved with
coaching, chaperoning, volunteering at the schools, and attending sporting
events. Along the way, meaningful friendships are developed and leaders
get to offer hope to kids by pointing them to God. We are so thankful for each
leader as they give their time to reach out to teens in Greater Olympia!
Members of a Young Life committee are adults who are
committed to providing every kid in their community the opportunity to hear
about Jesus Christ in terms they can understand. Committee members pray for
Young Life, promote the ministry in the community, care for the local staff and
volunteer leaders, as well as ensure the financial health of the ministry.
Young Life would not exist without people praying! Every healthy outreach is surrounded by people faithfully praying for kids and the leaders who are in their lives. Whether you are connected to a school currently with Young Life ministry, or one that is not yet developed, we would love to share with you ways to join us in prayer.
Financial support is a significant way for people to be involved with the Young Life mission. Without healthy funding the area could not employ staff to create a vision and plan for reaching kids, and recruit, train and support volunteer leaders. Supporters also provide what is needed for program costs and getting students to camp!
Looking for a way to help? This network includes people who can provide snacks or help at events...anything to help out the volunteer leaders!
Get involved with one of our events during the year (Tonight Show or Golf Classic) to help raise funds and awareness for Young Life in the community!
There a number of ways we could use a hand in the office throughout the year!
Sign up for our quarterly newsletter, via mail or email, to stay connected to what is happening in the area!
Contact us if you are interested in any of these ways to be involved!
